The GHRP-2 graphs are from Synergistic Release of Growth Hormone by GHRP and GHRH: Scope and implication by Cyril Y. Bowers in Growth Hormone Secretagogues in Clinical Practice, CRC; 1st edition (May 15, 1998)

The last three come from a study that indicated that GHRP-2 was equally powerful to Hexarelin. Effects of GHRP-2 and hexarelin, two synthetic GH-releasing peptides, on GH, prolactin, ACTH and cortisol levels in man. The above graphs indicate that a little GHRP-2 is very powerful, Although not very effective on its own when combined with 100mcg of GHRH it is very synergistic.

The above graphs indicate that you can use very large doses of GHRP-2 and get a greater GH release. The 10mcg/kg was two to three times more effective then 1mcg/kg.

In fact in this study the 10mcg/kg dose of GHRP-2 was about equal to the synergistic release of 1mcg/kg of GHRP-2 & 1mcg/kg of GHRH.

The above graph indicates that GHRP-2 is equipotent to Hexarelin in effecting GH release.

The above graph indicates that the young respond better then the old BUT that the old respond better to GHRP-2 then to Hexarelin.

The above table demonstrates a similar (slightly better) GH release profile between both GHRP-2 and Hexarelin in young and old w/o regard for gender.

The study from which GH equivalence was demonstrated found that there can be cortisol and prolactin release within the normal range from both GHRP-2 and Hexarelin.

“In our study, both ACTH and cortisol increases after GHRP-2 and HEX remained within the normal range but, actually, they were not significantly different from those recorded after administration of hCRH, the most important corticotrope-timulating neurohormone. Thus, this evidence demonstrates that the ACTH/cortisol-releasing activity of GHRPs is not negligible and requires further studies.
